				<link>http://www.suvablog.com/index.cfm/2007/1/26/suva-city-market.html</link>
				<description>

				The Suva Market is the larget retail produce market in the South Pacific. Situated just beside the Suva bus station, the market has vegetable stalls downstairs and Kava stalls upstairs.

A large variety of tropical produce is sold a the Suva Market. It has everything from fruits both local and imported, root crops, vegetables, seafood and spices. It is a great place for visitors to buy and taste the island&apos;s multicultural flavour. The market is always busy on Friday afternoons and Saturday mornings.

The market atmosphere is friendly as well as chaotic with people chatting as they bargain with the sellers for the best price for the produce.

				<title>Suva Shopping</title>
				<link>http://www.suvablog.com/index.cfm/2007/1/25/Suva-Shopping</link>
				<description>

				Suva is a popular destination for shoppers from all over Fiji and visitors to the islands from overseas. Shop for handmade Fijian handicrafts from the Government Handicraft Center or if you are ready to try your hand at bargaining visit the Municipal Handicraft Center. Another great place to shop is the Flea Market. Located just opposite the Suva Bus Station. It is a conveniently located market where cheap goods and food is the order of the day.

There are also a larger number of stores in the central part of Suva where you can buy almost anything you wish.
