In the late 1990's I visited Suva and ate at a small recently-opened restaurant on a side street just off the main Victoria Parade called JJ's. Being partial to chocolate cake, I ordered their offering as a dessert. It was huge, delicious and well worth ordering! Of course, it wasn't the only thing on the menu worthy of praise.

On a recent return to Suva, I discovered with delight that JJ's is still operating, and has in fact expanded its restaurant space as well as now offering boutique business accommodation and conference facilities. Now called JJ's on the Park it is right across from the waterfront on Stinson Parade in a prime position alongside Sukuna Park in the centre of Suva City. It is not difficult to understand why the restaurant won the Fiji Restaurant of the Year Award in 2003.

Accommodation is particularly geared toward the business traveller, with boutique luxury rooms and suites.
